Nyhetsmorgon på IMDb-problemet

I början av året startade jag och Magnus en sida på Facebook (Nyhetsmorgon bort från IMDb!) som tar upp det enorma problemet med att alla skådisar och filmskapare som någonsin synt i rutan i Nyhetsmorgon på TV4 blir listade som "cast" på IMDb.com. Se listan över medverkande i Nyhetsmorgon här. Helt idiotiskt! Vi fick genast en massa anhängare men sen hände inte så mycket. Idag tog vi tag i saken igen och jag skickade precis nyss iväg detta meddelande till supportfolket på IMDb. Håll tummarna för att något händer!

Hello,
This concerns a Swedish daily news show called "Nyhetsmorgon". It's a show with current news reports, weather, interviews and so on. Once in a while there's a review of a movie, sometimes accompanied by a short filmed interview with an actor or director. In some cases an actor is in the studio as a guest.

The problem is this:
Just about every well known actor/actress/filmmaker have "appeared" in the show in film clips and interviews. And whenever this happens *someone* is adding them as "cast" on the show's page here on IMDb:

They shouldn't list people who was interviewed in a brief news report as cast members. If all news shows in the world did this every actor would have millions of "self"-credits in their bio. Check the cast list for this show and see how it clutters up 100's of celebrities IMDb resumes.

On every major celebrity's resume here on IMDb you can always find that they appeared as Himself or Herself on "Nyhetsmorgon". This is very misleading and people around the world - unfamiliar with what "Nyhetsmorgon" is - thinks the actors actually play "themselves" on an obscure Swedish TV show. It's also a bit degrading towards actors that have passed away. For example Sean Penns late brother Chris Penn's last TV appearance as himself is on "Nyhetsmorgon", which of course is a bit...wrong.

Me and my friends really hope that something can be done about this. Hopefully sooner than later.
We have even spoken to the TV channel behind the show (TV4, one of the biggest TV channels in Sweden) and surprisingly no one there seems to know how the information ends up on IMDb this way. Is it possible that the show's episodes are automatically generated/updated somehow?

Anyway, we would really like to know what you think and what can be done about this.

Ja, idag blev det bekräftat att det faktiskt var jag som vann förstapriset i D-Links tävling på Dustinmässan för någon månad sedan. Såg mitt rätt vanliga namn i ett nyhetsbrev och skrev till företaget och frågade om det var jag. Och det var det.
Jag vann den D-Link-produkt jag ville ha också - en finfin trådlös nätverkskamera, nämligen denna, och kommer väl få den på posten snart. =)
Det var några 1X2-frågor med en slogangrej på slutet och där skrev jag något i stilen med att jag ville vinna kameran "eftersom jag vill veta om min hund spelar eller säger WoW när jag inte är hemma". Jättefånigt, men jag visste väl att det skulle funka. =)
